"Life Lessons" Little Black Dress Women in Business Conference

Marc and Angel Chernoff are professional coaches, full-time students of life, admirers of the human spirit, and have been recognized by Forbes as having “one of the most popular personal development blogs.”  Through their blog, book, course and coaching, they’ve spent the past decade writing about and teaching proven strategies for finding lasting happiness, success, love and peace. The goal of their blog is to give you the tools to identify and transform the limiting beliefs that keep you stuck.

I can't remember when I first discovered Marc & Angel Hack Life on the Internet, but it had to be during a dark period in my life where nothing seemed to go right for me or in my favor or at least, so it seemed at the time.

My personal life was being hampered by the ending of a 24 -plus year marriage, my oldest son in college and my youngest son just 2 years away from graduating high school. I was suddenly thrust into being a single parent, holding down a full time job with one 20-year-old son and a late teenage son, an overweight dog, plus a high mortgage payment and a shortage of cars, making me the chief soccer mom for my youngest boy.

I'm certainly not the first person to ever go through such an emotionally impacting time in a life and I most certainly will not be the last.  In order to maintain some type of normal in my life, I searched for motivational topics daily on the world wide web. Sayings, articles, research... anything to help me keep a sense of reality in check. I needed something that told me I was OK and that everything was going to be OK. And before you say it, yes, I increased my presence and awareness in church and happy to say I'm glad I did and still do.

While scouring the Internet one day, I came across a blog titled Marc & Angel Hack Life - Getting Back to Happy. What I discovered were two people who had gone through or had experienced hardships in their life and then decided to join forces to battle their inner demons, knowing that others were battling their own demons as well. I was one of them fighting my own battle. Perhaps you do too, but nobody knows it. You keep it to yourself or you tell it to your dog or cat and the voices inside your head.

As I subscribed to the online daily musings from Marc and Angel, I began to realize these folks were not only writing about themselves, they were writing about me too. How did they know what I was going through? Not everyone knew, or perhaps more people knew than I realized or was willing to accept. It didn't matter, Marc and Angel knew. They were writing directly to me...everyday,  sent directly to my inbox so I could read at my leisure, usually first thing in the morning. Their message was clear - I was not alone in my struggles. They, and thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people were going through or had gone through similar issues or problems that affect their everyday life.

To this day, life is much better than it was once was for me not so long ago. And I subscribe to a few blogs for my everyday reading and inspiration, one belonging to Marc and Angel Chernoff... there everyday in the inbox of my private email account. But here is the cool thing - as part of my job I love as the Chief Cook and Bottle Washer of the Chamber of Commerce, I am responsible for securing speakers for our events throughout the year. One such event is the annual Little Black Dress Women in Business Conference held in Greensburg, this year on June 14.

I am beyond thrilled to say that we have secured Marc and Angel Chernoff as this year's keynote speakers for our conference, titled appropriately "Life Lessons" Little Black Dress Women in Business Conference. We have had many powerful and wonderful speakers in our previous 11 years of presenting this conference. Marc and Angel will certainly add to that outstanding lineup of presenters to our almost 200 ladies who attend this event. Over 70 percent of their audience is comprised of women with 42 percent being between the ages of 35-54. That figure is very close to the demographic make up of our Women in Business attendees. You are going to love this conference.

Check out the Marc and Angel .com website posted above in this blog and decide for yourself if you want to be a part of this terrific day-long event. It is affordable and it'll be a day packed with topics and discussions that can help you in your everyday life situations, at work or at home. Registration is available now at http://www.greensburgchamber.com/events/details/2018-little-black-dress-women-in-business-conference-1312

Thanks for reading and until next time...  - 30-
