For a vehicle to run at optimum performance, proper maintenance is required. The same can be said for your computer. That’s why Enhanced Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) is proud to introduce its new Tech Team, an endeavor specifically designed to offer technical assistance for your PC.

Whether you’re in need of a tune-up, system rebuild, or security set-up, ETC’s new Tech Team is available for hire. Service typically begins with a free consultation for computers dropped off at the nearest ETC office. In-home consultations are available for a small fee. The Team will offer suggestions and if, as a result of the advice, you opt to hire them, they’ll begin work on your unit.

Customers in need of a consultation may choose to drop off their equipment at any of ETC’s 4 locations, including Sunman, Batesville, Greensburg or Brookville. Service work will actually be handled at ETC’s Batesville office, but the equipment will be returned to the original drop-off point for convenient customer pick-up.

Since rolling out this service in December, the team has already examined almost a dozen systems. “We’re anxious to build on our business,” team member Aaron Stenger noted. “Given ETC’s role as an internet provider, the idea of offering networking and technological assistance is a natural fit. Whether it’s rebuilding a system, handling security set-up, or even installing a digital camera, mp3 player or gaming console, we’re up for the task.”

Stenger is joined on the Tech Team by fellow network security specialist Kriss Wiggins. Both men hold Bachelor’s of Science Degrees and are Comp TIA Certified Professionals. Additionally Stenger’s qualifications include an MCP on Windows XP and a MCSA:M on Windows 2003. Wiggins’s additional credentials include an AS in Network Engineering and a MCP/MCSE for Windows 2000.

For more information on the Tech Team’s rates and services, or for an appointment, contact 800-353-2123, or 866-ETC-4YOU. Additional tech team information, as well as info on ETC’s other services including local telephone, long distance, video, high-speed internet, cellular phones, security systems, web management, and business networking solutions is also available at www.etczone.com.

ETC has been providing telecommunications services to Sunman, Batesville, Greensburg, Brookville and surrounding areas for more than 75 years, and employs nearly 70 local individuals.
