DESCRIPTION:The Excel Center is a free\, accredited\, high school for adults to earn their Core 40 Indiana State Diploma. \n \n\nOperated by Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana\, The Excel Center provides support services such as on-site child care\, transportation assistance\, and college credit and industry-recognized certification courses all at no cost.\n \n\nThrough our access to additional Goodwill programs such as employment and disability services\, a criminal re-entry program\, and services for first-time mothers\, The Excel Center is able to help remove barriers to education and empower individuals to achieve their goals.\n \n\nThough The Excel Center is an adult-focused program\, The Excel Center - Shelbyville allows students ages 16 and up. If a minor-aged student is currently serving a suspension or expulsion\, they must complete it before enrolling at our location. Minor applicants and their parents must meet with our Director\, Shonda Russell\, prior to orientation. \n\nThe Excel Center - Shelbyville's class times are Monday through Thursday\, 9 am to 3:45 pm.\n \n\nFor anyone interested in enrolling\, please visit our website at excelcenter.org/enroll to fill out an application. We will then reach out to answer any questions and schedule you for this orientation day!
