The Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce will host its second Legislative Update for 2019 on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the Decatur County REMC Community Room, 1430 W. Main St., Greensburg. Doors will open at 7:45 a.m. and the event will begin at 8 a.m.
State Lawmakers serving Decatur County are expected to be in attendance to discuss the 2019 Legislative session underway in Indianapolis. Those Legislators are, House Representatives Randall Frye (R-District 67, Greensburg),Representative Cindy Ziemke (R-District 55, Oldenburg), State Senators Chip Perfect (R-District 43, Lawrenceburg), and Jean Leising, (R-District 42, Oldenburg)
The State Legislators will be allowed 10 minutes to discuss their views and plans for the current session and that will be followed by questions from constituents. The event is scheduled to conclude by 9:15 a.m.
This is a free event for the public.
