Visit charming witches at the Decatur County Historical Society Museum's FREE Halloween event for kids on Saturday, October 26, 2-5pm. Children will be spellbound by live renditions of storybook characters from A Very Brave Witch, Humbug Witch and Harry Potter. Young guests will enjoy a wicked good time while having their picture taken at the Green Scream photo op, or spinning messages from the web with Halloween postcards. Stop by the Room of Fortune where little palms are read by good witch Hazel, assisted by sister Agnes. The "Transylvania" train display is always an entertaining treat! Young artists may create a witch craft in the Gallery. Children must be accompanied by an adult and costumes are encouraged, but not required. Come early and we shall have a little fun, uhahaha!
The museum is located at 222 N. Franklin Street, Greensburg. Parking for strollers is on the north side of the museum by the handicap entrance. For more information, call the museum at 812-663-2764 or Lynne Saler at 812-663-7273.
