MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local client are NOW HIRING Steam and Tumble Operators for Resonac in the Greensburg, Indiana, area!
$16.00/hour
Shifts:
1st, 6:30 AM- 3PM, Monday- Friday
**Must be willing and available to work OVERTIME as needed on Saturdays and Sundays**
Steam and Tumble Operators are responsible for quality control, tracking, transporting, and packaging order items for distribution. Quality inspectors are highly organized, detail-oriented, and observant.
Job duties:
- Loads parts into a vat or conveyor system
- Removes parts from conveyor and vat after the steam and tumble process has been completed
- Identifies defects in nonconforming parts and materials and reports them to shift supervisor with urgency
- Stacks the parts on a pallet
- Logs all processing information and data with accuracy and full detail
- Completes tasks according to standardized work processes, quality goals, and manufacturing schedules
- Maintains the good working condition of equipment and tools
- Promotes teamwork and safety in the warehouse
Skills & requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing or production preferred
- Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills
- Must be dependable & reliable
- Must pass drug screen & background check
- E-Verify employer
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to stand 8 hours per day
- Must be able to lift over the head
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
Work environment:
- Industrial facility
- Non temperature controlled environment
Dress code: Blue jeans or work pants, MS-IL t-shirt, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes
